About About us at Crow Park Hotel Our
website will hopefuly show you a little more about the facilities we
offer and for those who have not visited, a little more about the area.
The
original building was, we believe, completed around 1820, making it by
far the oldest property on The Heads. Built as two private residences,
using local black granite, but who was the builder?W e
are not sure the date they became one building but in the 1938 Keswick
Telephone Directory a listing for Lingmell Hotel No. 208 was listed. We
have had several guests returning who were evacuated here during the
Second World War and remember it as one building called Lingmell Hotel.
No en-suites or central heating and no Wi-fi, how did they survive?! Around
1970 the name was altered to Crow Park Hotel, named after the truly
magnificent Crow Park which skirts the shore of Derwentwater. Look at how Keswick has grown over the years!
